No. As a training provider we have a huge responsibility. We offer two options all for the same price of £200. You can do the whole course again or you can join half way through the course. Both of these options give us the opportunity to make sure you are absolutely competent.
Yes. We try to make sure that timed swims are on Wednesday so that it is convenient for people joining as re-take candidates. If for some reason the timed swim cannot be on this day then we will contact you to discuss other options. If you are not taking the surf lifeguard then there is no timed pool swim.
For sure, but you will need to upgrade to the units that are not in the Surf Coach Safety and Rescue award. Please contact us to discuss.
We have a variety of training locations. Yo.ur trainer will send through details on enrolment.
Yes, you will need your own vehicle or have someone to drop you off and pick you up. People on the course normally end up car sharing once everyone has got to know each other on day one. Please do not worry if this is a major problem for you. We realise some of you travel from overseas and have used public transport to get to us. If this is a problem, then please notify us prior to the course starting.
You can drink as much tea and coffee as is humanly possible but you will need to either bring a packed lunch or have money to buy something.
Candidates must be age 16 on the day of the exam.
24 months from the date of assessment.
