If you have completed a lifesaving course with WSA or Saltwater Training before, then you can retake your award again for £200. It’s easy to forget certain skills and knowledge you have gained on previous courses, especially when you don’t have to apply it on a regular basis.
We understand the importance of keeping skills current, so we encourage everyone to keep referring to your lifesaving manuals after the course or pick up the phone to call us if you have any questions regarding protocols or best practice. The SLSGB Surf Lifeguard and Surf Coach Safety and Rescue award are both valid for 24 months from the date of your assessment, so don’t leave it too late to book onto a course. Keeping your award valid is crucial for insurance purposes and it keeps you legal to work.
To be eligible to enrol on this course your certificate must still be in date and approaching expiry. If your certificate has expired you will need to do the whole course again at full price. On the booking form you will need to specify when you did the course with us.
If you have a number of people that are keen to re-qualify, then give us a call, because it may be more practical for us to come to you.
