Day 1 - aRRIVAL

Guests fly to Gothenburg, Landvetter airport. A flight will be suggested to allow clients to arrive at once. They will then take a bus to Tanumsede (2hrs - £16 one way). They will be met in Tanum centre and taken to Grebbestad Fjorden for their first night. That evening they will meet the guides for food who will explain the plan for the rest of the trip.

Day 2 - camping, expedition evening meal

The group have breakfast at the hostel in the morning and will take a short walk through the town to meet the outfitters and start preparing for the day. A perfect opportunity to collect some extra snacks for the day.

Depending on the route chosen the group will either then be transported to the start or launch from Grebbestad to begin their adventure. They will then have a day of paddling and exploring the incredible Swedish archipelagos. Lunch will be fresh bread, salads, meats and cheeses. 

The evening meal will be a Real Turmat expedition option. The group can then relax and enjoy a glass of wine around the fire.

Day 3 - Camping, expedition evening meal

DAY 4 - Camping freshly cooked local evening meal BBQ

Guests will be woken with a hot drink of their choice and warm porridge for breakfast. They will set off to explore more of the islands. The group will stop for a freshly made lunch which will give guests time to explore the island.

The evening meal will be provided by a local team which will include local delicacies and a BBQ as well as a hot tent to warm up the group.

Day 5

Guests will be woken with a hot drink of their choice and warm porridge for breakfast.

A short 2-3 hours paddle back to Grebbestad. Clients can then get changed and return their equipment. A short walk back through the town where guests can stop at one of the many cafes for brunch and head back to the hostel to get cleaned up ready for an evening meal in Grebbestad, that evening.  

DAY 6 - DEPARTURE

Guests will have breakfast (included) then will be collected by minibus from the Grebbestad Fjorden and taken back to Tanemsede where they can catch the bus back to Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.

TRIP OPTIONS

The trip can be run a series of ways depending on the wind. We can deliver a linear (A-B) trip, Heestrand to Grebbestad or a circular trip starting and finishing in Grebbestad. 

Guests will spend 3-4 hours a day paddling, enjoying the incredible island surroundings. During the trip guests will be able to explore the islands and visit Viking burial sites, see runes, take in the incredible views as well as see the beautiful flora and fauna the islands have to offer. Lunches will be freshly made on day 2 and 3 and evening meals will be top of the range Real Turmat expedition meals.

One the final evening of the trip a local company will come and cook a fresh meal for the group of local delicacies, BBQ and hot tent.

All food allergies and eating types can be catered for.  

We will look at breakfast options.

Most of the islands have toilets (included in images as an example) available but we do encourage guests to bring a small toilet kit if for any reason we cannot camp on these islands

  Clients arriving separately will need arrange a taxi at their own cost. However, we may be able to arrange a lift depending on arrival.
